ACS MIDAS+ and Statit Software integrate leading statistical process control analysis package with Care Management and decision support to improve patient care and efficiency

Integration Supports “Best of Breed” Quality Improvement Solutions Strategy
Tucson, Arizona – December 2006 – ACS® MIDAS+™, a business unit of ACS Healthcare Solutions, and Statit Software, Inc., a leading provider of process management and quality improvement statistical analysis software, announced today a Solution Partner Program integrating the Statit e-Server product with the ACS MIDAS+ Care Management and DataVision™ products.
This integration will give clinical analysts and hospital leadership a powerful set of tools to use to understand where processes in the hospital may be improved in conjunction with the MIDAS+ DataVision Clinical Decision Support and Care Management applications in use today at over 750 hospitals nation-wide. The MIDAS+ products are used to meet the workflow and reporting needs surrounding Resource Utilization, Case Management, Patient Throughput, Patient Safety and Clinical Quality Improvement.
Embedding Statit statistical process control charts into our core system functionality will provide our users with state-of-the-art quality improvement tools to concurrently monitor outcomes of care and clinical process across their organization,” says Vicky A.
