MIDAS+ TJC/CMS Hospital Reporting Solutions
The MIDAS+™ Comparative Performance Measurement System (CPMS) provides ACS MIDAS+ hospital clients with over 150
fully automated outcome measures and a full range of process measures that can be used to trend hospital
performance over time and benchmark performance to other hospitals nationwide.
Since 1997, the MIDAS+ CPMS has grown to include more than 560 hospitals, and currently houses over 100 million
patient encounters. Listed with The Joint Commission (TJC) as an ORYX® vendor, the MIDAS+ CPMS is one of the
easiest tools on the market to help you meet your current and future regulatory requirements for Performance
Measurement.
The MIDAS+ CPMS gives you the tools you need to collect either concurrent or retrospective process data. Plus, you
get comparative, severity-adjusted outcome data from one of the nation's largest concurrent databases to complement
your process performance data.

Behavioral Health
ACS MIDAS+ also offers a specialized measure set for Behavioral Health hospitals. Over 80
measures that examine clinical outcomes are available as well as care management processes
related to the care of inpatient psychiatric patients. Selected measures in this set may be used
to meet TJC ORYX requirements for those hospitals that accredit under either the Hospital or
Behavioral Health Standards.
