MIDAS+ BedReady
The MIDAS+ BedReady system is a full-featured, fully browser based capacity management and patient throughput
application providing workflow and productivity tools for bed management, housekeeping, and transport staff.
Real-time
monitoring of bed capacity and throughput is available for administrators and managers, as well as a complete set
of reporting tools for continuous improvement of the patient throughput process.
Use of the web-based MIDAS+ BedReady application improves the flow of patient movement throughout the facility,
resulting in reduced ED wait times, improved bed turnover and increased patient, employee and physician
satisfaction. The automated dispatch of transporters and housekeepers reduces the staff required to make work
assignments and the communication tools eliminate phone calls, faxes, and printer output, saving staff time. The
alerting features provide real-time notification when problems begin to occur so that intervention can be taken to
reduce undesirable outcomes.
